S60 w/spool
Where is the best place to get a S60 with a spool? Is it a direct bolt in with LCA's,relocation brackets, tourq arm and panhard bar? Do i need a diff size driveshaft with it? If u cant post a site name please pm me.

If you purchase the drag race version, I believe it is on page 75 of strange's catalog, it comes with Tue spool. When you purchase it, it is basically fill with fluids, boltit up and go. If you contact them they will even tell you what size your driveshaft needs to be. I just ordered mine yesterday.

1 other thing that I noticed with mine is that my rear sat a little higher. The spring mounts are on the same place on the axle tubes, but the axle tubes are much thicker, thus raising the actual mount point relative to the ground. It's not much higher but probably 1/2- 3/4".

Do what I just did. A few guys at the shootout told me a quick fix. Jack the car up and let the rear drop all the way down. Remove the rear springs (a screwdriver can pry them out of the bottom) and the spring cup will fall out. The spring cup is roughly 3/4" tall. Go to your local auto parts store and buy some 3/4" heater hose, get 2ft of it, 1ft for each coil. Slide the hose over the springs and re-install. The hose prevents the spring from squeaking. I cut 1/4 coil and removed the cup and dropped mine almost an inch. It takes 20 minutes.

My S60 with 3.73's a spool, the upgraded aluminum cover, stronger axles, and bigger studs was 185lbs. The chrome cover is probably a few lbs lighter, the aluminum cover is very beefy.
