Default bmr a/c block off plate...

so i just got this wonderfull plate an had it powder coated. now i was wondering the best way to install it. is there a spcial way i should take everything out so i dont mess anything up. OR should i just start going ham an rip every thing out with no regardes for what im doing. some one let me know what you would do.

be careful with stuff you may want to keep, otherwise take care around the pcm and under the dash.

well im going to relocate the pcm to under the dash along withevery outher wire in the bay. but idk what i should keep???

What plate ? Does it cover the hole if ya yank a.c out ?

It's for heater box removal. Get a sledge, a prybar, and I believe 8mm socket on a 12 inch extention. Loop the heater hose, scrape the rubber mat and glue off.

I did it the hard way and took it out from inside the car. A total PIA and next time I would have just cut it out from the engine bay. However the cover goes inside and I just used some of the screws that was used for the hvac to secure the plate back on.

I removed the dash to install my plate, took 30 min to pull the dash. I had the dash angled on the drive seat for room. I used bolts I bought from the local hardware store. I also used a 1 in double sided weatherstrip to seal it in place. Worked great. Just be careful of the center bracket on the dash, very easy to bend it out of wack.

ok it looks like ill be doing it from the inside. just to make shure i dont get rid of anyhing i need. thanks for the advice.
