Default Alternative clamps??

I hate using these clamps. Especially taking them off. The ones I have are brittle and will need to be replaced. Im looking for clamps that are easy to put on and take off just in case I ever have to take these water pump hoses off again...

I actually prefer those over typical worm clamps (which will work fine).

I like them too: unless they are the giant ones, and you need to take a set of channel locks to the last slot to take it off. lol

If you get some hose clamp pliers it makes dealing with the factory clamps very easy. They usually have swiveling tips that allow positioning the pliers in any position. The factory clamps are nice because they keep squeezing the hose to prevent leaks.

I liked the stock clamps never had a problem, I would put them in the same location/orientation every time and never had any issues. If you were dead set on replacing them I would only use t-bolt clamps if you can fit them. The regular clamps work, but many of them are poorly made. If you get a set of nut drivers it makes short work of them.

I use the Snap-on hose clamp pliers with the long cable so u can get anywhere on the motor. I prefer the factory band clamps. Worm drives suck...and they look like **** IMO. The right tool for the job...everytime. BTW my teacher back in school would say, "A cresent wrench is NOT a tool" i would agree! Ha

That's something you have to take up with the snap on man. You can probably find a used set on ebay for a good price.
