Default Hid lights

guys tht got a 93-97 camaro with hid lights did u have to use a relay harness for the hid kit dont wana melt wires i seen online tht ppl said itll melt wires i always thouht hids consumed less power..


but need some help for those that already did this mod..

you'll probably have better luck in the stereo & electronics or appearance section

Dont do it an put silverstars in the housings you will be much better off

I have some on mine. I bought a kit off eBay for 60 bucks. It comes with everything you need and you can mod your stock housings for them. I forget which kit exactly but they work well and no melted wires. I advise not to go too hot on the temp rating though. I went with 10k and they are way too blue for my liking.

And you will have shitty light output as opposed to a good halogen lamp. Speaking from experience here. I have had 10k6k4300k all in the stock lights. You know what works the best. ******* silverstars.

Anyone who's had HIDs knows they're bad news

Good luck driving in the rain, can't see a damn thing aside from reflectors

ya ive have the 8k and the 10k it is a big pain for others and like u said with the reflectors lol after a while seems like they fade out?

900x is just the size and shape of the socket

And yes it Definatley seems like they dull with age
