PCM question
1994 Z28/M6
i just got my aldl cable in today, and have been tryin to read the pcm using datamaster. The error im getting is when i test comm its is saying the aldl adapter is working, but no PCM was detected.
ANyone have an idea what could be cuasing this, or what i need to do to figure this out??

Seriously though, the two terminals bolt to the coil bracket stud.

Two rings from the engine harness. One ring has a black wire for the ICM ground. The other ring has two tan/white wires that are PCM grounds. The other ground is the braided strap that goes to the LH frame rail.

ok i have one that has a black and two tanish/white wires together, plus one ring which is the strap, should i split up those three wires on the one ring?. so i would have one ring with black, and the other ring with the tan/white two wires?

ok i checked all the grounds and everything is good, i also checked for for continuity to rule out a bad wire between the diagnostic port and the pcm. now am i possiby doing something wrong with the software.
what i did was download datamaster, made sure i did the one for 1994 lt1 fbody. and then i downloaded the drvier for the usb. now when i try to connect to the pcm it still says the the usb is working but it can not detect a pcm.
