What do you guys think about professional products throttle body? I heard bad thing and good thing about it. Thinking to get one for my car, but not sure about it. THanks.

First and foremost, why do you need a bigger throttlebody?

Also we have no idea what car or mods you have so we can't properly help with what you're doing.

I use their 58mm TB w/ no issues whatsoever. Throttle body is throttle body.

It's just a branded summit TB, probably the same cast from China as a lot of the other ones. I ran one for about a year without any problems. I rotated the spring one time extra for a crisper return but thats it.

Only sold it for one with more "bling".

No, you would see results, but its not worth the money until you get the supporting mods of H/C/I.

Many, many unneeded 58mm TBs running around out there.
Anybody really think your 350" "HCI" LT1 is going to be able to pump ~900 CFM? Really? Would you pull off a 750 Holley, to replace it with a Dominator?
Well, some of you might. :-)
On a stock engine, they are a joke. Like a "ported" MAF. Or 50lb injectors. Unless your over 400 rwhp, you won't see anything from a larger TB. Throttle response may feel better to you, but that's all. My R&D mule car had more test parts like that thrown at it than you could haul off in a big truck. LOL Suprising at what power levels you reach before many stock parts become a restriction. Save your money until you need it, spend it where it will help something.

Btw, some of those Chinese TBs have the TPS screw holes "clocked" wrong, requiring slotting the TPS to set it correctly. They are rip-offs of parts in which American companies, like Holley, BBK, etc, have resources invested.

Do you buy boot leg CDs & DVDs? I'm afraid to ask.

Cubes and RPM dictate intake cfm requirements, and a 350 limited by our computers just doesn't need a lot of throttle body. I had a nice pretty chart in my bookmarks years ago but lost it...

Basically a stock TB was already plenty of air for a 7000rpm 350. Bigger TB gives you faster tip-in and the feeling of better throttle response, but that's about it until you really get up there in cubes and RPM.

i've got one here, no complaints only reason i bought it though is because i broke the crews off on the the old one and was doing the rest of the top end and figured for the price might as well.... pretty solid piece no problems yet
