Default lt1 hp estimates

I'm sure there's old threads out there but what the hell, last august i had my 95 383 dynod and it made 351 rwhp and 390 torq. the car was breaking up due to fouled plugs and it had 10.9.1 compression with stock manifolds,cc503 44lb injectors, stock tb.and stock heads.. what should i see for numbers now with 11.9.1 compression, pacesetter long tubes and 58 mm throttle body and cai? and do i need to retune?

Woah...holy mismatch.

A 383 needs more than the CC503 and a LOT more than stock heads. The parts you are adding will help but not much - maybe 15-20hp. You may want to revise what you have and start over.

You will also need a re-tune.

Yeah no kidding i regret buying that 300 dollar **** cam, and its hard to scrap up 1600 for a decent set of heads, the dyno guy told me that the cam was perfect i figured it was wayy to small

yea like ramair said your kinda outta wack with that setup no offense..........the cam is far too small and the stock head thing is going to murder that setup.........your first order of business is loosing the manifolds for a decent header, next item should be the heads......you don't need $1600, AI and LE will do a port only job for far less than that, or you could even find a used set of TFS or AFR heads on the forum here somewhere

O.o

Cam Only LT1s put that down.
As stated need more cam for a 383, need heads, headers.
I don't understand why you have a 383 if you don't have heads or even headers?
A Head and Cam stock bottom end will make over 400rwhp.

Another thing thats messed up the engine builder ordered the eagle kit and they only rate the crank to 500 hp and after reading your guys forums cast eagle cranks are ****..so I'm all messed up

Ew you are running a Cast Eagle Crank?

The stock crank is stronger than aftermarket cast garbage.
Its either stock crank or forged.

58mm TB is a waste as your heads are restricting you plus you don't even really need it if you had heads anyways.

My CC503 stock heads/displacement put down 325rwhp through a stalled auto, assuming yours is a M6 car. The CC503 is far from a **** cam, honestly probably agreeably the best cam Comp offers, but within it's application of course. You could do better with many other choices, like previously stated.

30# injectors will cover most N/A setups, I've seen some get away with stockers on near 400rwhp setups maintaining the acceptable injector duty cycle. Hopefully the 44#'s aren't Accell or some other less than desirable brand.
