Dont think u can since those years are eltronically control by the PCM. Speedo, shift solenoids, temp all those things inside the trany. I also beleive that the output shaft that go into the converter are different. You would have to by pass the PCM get a custom speedo made to work with your car.....Etc. by the time your done u would have wished u would have re-built your stock one. Trust me my buddy did a 200r4 in a LS1 it was a 3 week project. Crossmember, and all electronics.

Youre correct. Are you asking or telling? Youll also need another t/b and something else but I cant think of it at the moment.

I had a trans brake manual valve body 4r70w that I DD from DC to Annapoliss traffic, highway and city driving. It wasnt that bad but it wasnt no 5-speed. I started to miss the good ole days when my computer did all the shifting. I hated flicking that switch for lock up also. Couldve got a timer but, meh.

I am in the process of putting a 1996 LT1 in my 1991 RS with a built 700r4. I think it will be fine. Although it may require a new VSS and a different kick down cable. I am not completely sure of everything that is involved. But I am sure I will find out within the next month or so

Like 93 Vs 94. The VSS is a issue in most older to newer and vise versa swaps because the ppm is differnt through each generation. Becomes a issue if you want the speedo etc
