Default help my car want shift!!!!

well i have a 1994 formula and i took it to that car wash and pressure washed my engine and while i was doing it it cut off when i tried to start it back up it had to turn over like 6 time befor it started but after it started even after i let it warm up it idles at like 1200 and when i go to put it in gear it jerks the whole car i just put a brand new jasper tranny in and it also does not change gears till it gets to like 5000 do you think i got my computer wet ?? help!!

You pressure washed a LT1!!!!!!!! I dont even think you should be pressure washing any motor , you could have messed up some wiring, knocked a sensor(s) loose, damaged your opti, maybe have done something to your computer.

I think I vote for opti damage.

lt1s dont run off of a normal distributor. you have to get under the car to see but the opti is in front of the car under the water pump slighty. optis are really sensitive and can crap out easily especially OEM ones.

Mine is on the left top side. Metal looking box thingy. Dunno about resetting.

You can reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for a little while and then reconnecting, although I highly doubt that will fix your problem in this case. Presssure washing the opti is basically like taking a sledge hammer to it.
