TTT, I can't wait till its all together and running, I want to hear that monster cam loping away. I might be going to the dyno thursday to see what the 9psi will get me, are you going to be at work that day?

The cam in your signature I assume is at a seat to seat timing rather then @ .050. 28x/29x is wicked large for a smallblock, and will need some serious RPM and either a Carb or Aftermarket engine management to run.

Just curious.

Good luck on the build-up

dude i am also building a 396 with eagle crank and eagle h-beam 6" rods. 210 afr heads ported by meaux racing heads.but i will use a brodix hv-1 carb intake that has been modified to efi and an elbow for my throttle body. plan on making 600hp. good luck with yours and keep us posted.

Nice stuff man! Wish i could afford the good stuff I will be running the cheaper Eagle stuff in my stroker.

Good luck man!

BTW 9# and stock pistons will take a VERY carefull tune Ask me how I know LOL

Twofast(cool name) I'm sure she'll handle 9psi with no problem. I am pretty confident with Eds tuning. He has been doing this longer than most anyone and has the ability. Last time I was at the dyno, I had belt slip issues and netted 447rwhp/501rwtq @5.5psi. A/F was 11.7to1 across the board. BUT if she goes out with a boom, then I have an excuse to go with forged internals and more cubic inches.
I won't let neal(pnykilr) out do me for long. He might get me with the spray, but I'll get his 396 when he's running NA.
J just keeping it at the top

I would assume its an LPE/Accell/DFI Carb Flange to TPI Throttle Body elbow.
