Default do lt1 camaros have there own starter?

i was wondering if the startes on lt1 camaros are the same as the older ones..

No I believe our LTx starters are different than the older GEn 1 starters.

Is it making a chirping noise immediately after starting up? My mothers LS1 did that after a loose ground . I was ready to put in a new one , but caught it.

yea LT1 starters have a gear reduction in them and 1st gen sbc's have a 1 to 1 ratio and i dont think they will even bolt on to the block

They will bolt to the block. That has not been changed. Our LT1 block has provisions for both the side by side and staggered starter bolt patterns.

well i took a screwdriver and crossed it over and it started and i havent had trouble all day, why would it do that? i mean its be like 10 degrees or below everynight,could it have been frozen?
