Default Yank Stealth 3000

Looking at one of these for my LT1 Camaro, it fits the C5 Vettes/LT1 Cars. Anyone have one in their Car, and how does it perform? Opinions..

I rode in a 94 Formula around a couple blocks for a beer run once, had some bolt ons and a Yank 3000 Stealth, and thats what made me want it.
Drives like a nearly stock car, but give it half throttle and she drops down nice and pulls hard, and put it to the floor and it will usually smokem, even around 25-30 mph.
If I remember correctly, its a lockup clutch too...

Stall hits real nice.
Im debating between that, and if I decide to go smaller, you can get a B&M Tork Master 2400 for $225, and from what I hear, its a great, reliable basic little stall that's good for taking the slush out of 2.73's.
Either way im getting one of them.... But Yank has such a great reputation and their stalls are top of the line, its hard to shy away for only a couple hundred more. Where not talking a bolt on here... this is a stall and makes a big difference, not to mention you will need a Tranny Cooler too.

Hope this helps Merv!

You'll love that stall...my buddy had a one on a stock motor and it felt like nitrous everytime he nailed the gas. At the time I was strictly an M6 guy and always talked chit about auto guys until I went for a ride in that car. Man...that was like 7 years ago...

I was looking at their site last night and was contemplating between the 3000 and 3600. My car is still a DD so I think you guys helped me answer my question.

Merv, let us know how it works.

Mike

I love my Edge but you really can't go wrong with a Yank either. For $300 grabbing it was a good choice you got a great deal.

I'll let you guys know what's up with it when it goes in. I still got to get the rear back together, then get the Transmission out of the Car and built. I'll post pics of the Ring and Pinion, it got pretty fucked up.
