Absolutely not. The stock springs will not last more than a few revolutions. The cc306 cam is going to put your stock valvesprings in coil bind, and parts are going to break immediately. Once your coils bind up, a pushrod will bend, a spring will break and drop a valve, a rocker will deflect, and worse.
Do not start the engine until the proper springs are installed!!!
Any number of springs will work for you, crane 10308-1 is a popular kit, comp 987 springs will work, or the new comp 918's are your best bet if you can afford buying the guideplates and NSA rocker arms.

Yea i figured that the stock springs wouldnt handle it at all...my buddy bought the same cam and i told him i wouldnt even try to put the cam in until he had bought springs...He wants to go cheap.... but whatever... I was looking also at K-motion K 800's

go with the comp 987s. i know they are heavier than the 918s but if the 918s break you drop a valve. the 987s still have an inner spring to rely on. i bought mine from an ebay company for 80 shipped brand new a couple days ago.
