Default 1.6 rr and valve covers

I am pretty sure that I already know the answer but.. When running 1.6 rrs do I need to run a different valve cover and if so any recommendations? The specs on my cam are .510/.520 w/`1.5rrs. Any help would be appreciated as I am getting close and just don't want something small holding me up.

You don't even have to do that much. Where the supports on the valve covers go down the curl under a little bit, all you have to do is straighten that little lip straight and you'll be fine.

A lot of the time you don't even have to modify the stock valve covers. Mine bolt up find with th GM SA 1.6 Roller Rockers.

Ya, im not sure why everyone needs to modify their valve covers. I am running comps pro magnum 1.6's and they fit perfectly fine under my stock valve covers with no modification.

That is good to hear, new valve covers were not in the budget.
