i need help with my slave cylinder???
my car wouldnt shift out of second when i was leavin the other day. so i shut it off and it when right into gear. so i figured it was the slave cylinder. so i took it back home took the slave off and pulled the boot off to see if it was leakin and it poured fluid out. so i replaced it. and i still cant get it into gear. since there is no bleed screw i cant try bleeding it. i filled up the slave with fluid then hooked the line up. i did it several times and it doesnt get any better. what should i do?
i even replaced the slave twice cause i thought it was defective. the master isnt leakin anywhere. so im lost with what to do

you have to manually bleed it. Push the rod in, by hand, about 10 or so millimeters. Keep pumping until no more bubbles in the reservoir. It would help to have someone else watching for bubbles.

also make sure that your fork is in proper position after your old one crapped out. The fork can fall and then not be lined up to properly swing, thus leaving a slave that cant move. One thing I have learned with slave cylinders is that when you have pedal pressure that is excessive, not to move or force the pedal.
So all that said,is your pedal pressure normal?
Is the pedal moving ,or is it stuck?

the pedal feels normal but when i can barely get into gear the car starts to move forward a bit and the clutch lets out at the bottom. when it used to let out on top.

take the cap off the resivoir and have someone there watching it and have some brake fluid with them. jack the car up and unbolt the slave (2 13mm nuts i think) and have the rod pointing down. push the rod in slowly and let it extend back out on its own while the other guy watches for bubbles and to keep the fluid level up.

well i had the same problem a couple of time, may not be yours, but u might wanna make sure that bolt where the clutch fork clips to is tight. when mine was backing out on me i new by the clutch was kicking in farther and farther to the floor. and then once it back out enough is when it started rubbing the fork on the pressure plate. but just a thought. good luck
