Default AFR 227's what headers?

hey guys,

going with the AFR 227's, 396 setup and wondering what headers I need to go with. Ive been doing alot of research and its pointing towards the 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 stepped header. So I know kooks makes that header but is extremly expensive. Just wondering what you guys are running and if theres anything a little less pricey. please post your set up, part numbers, price and/or anything else that would be helpful. Thank you

Part no. 65385 looks like they are standard port.
The 65387's came with adapters and hardware to use on a standard port.

yea I was just looking at the 65385 headers and they do look like standard port, maybe ill get them a call... I havent ordered the heads yet so maybe ill consider going with the spread port.. Is there any advantage in going with spread port ??

I run the standard port 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8" like tony's as well. Fitment is real nice.....

They are really good quality for the price...

I'm no genious, but I would say unless you're gonna spray it heavy or go FI standard port will be fine.

My AFR's had both standard port bolt holes and Stahl pattern bolt holes; not sure if all AFR's are that way?
