Default 355 build ????'s

hello, i'm going to be building a 355(still need help w/ getting right parts)...this is what i have planned,i will be boring the block .030 over, going to reuse stock crank, going with eagle forged h beam rods 6.0 rod length, still deciding on what are the right pistons...i think these forged wiseco pistons will work (part # PT008H3) if not let me know what other piston i can use w/ the part number...i was also going to go with the SRP piston P # 138085, just i can get a deal on those wiseco pistons

i am going to be running a nitrous setup(100-150 shot), also seems that i would probably run 11.1 CR w/ those pistons but soon to come down w/ trick flow heads

(SRP)http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

and advice would be appreciated
thank you

+1 for the mahle pistons i have heard they are lighter than most competitors and pretty strong if you get the forged ones but it looks like you will. sounds like a very nice setup!

if you were to use the mahle pistons you would have basically the same bottom end i have in my 383 setup (obviously besides the crank) i wonder what if any differences there would be in trying to run more nitrous through that system.. just a little something for you to think about since im thinking about it now and my motor is already built.. when i first built it i thought that i would only want a 150 shot or so. but the mor i think about it i want to run like a 250 shot or more if possible. i dunno but think about it, just a lil fyi. good luck with your setup.

I've got the wiseco forged pistons in my 355. They handle the n20 very well

I am also going to be doing this similar setup and was wondering what type of pistons and rods to use. Also i will most likely end up puttin some juice on it (125-150 shot).

Mahle all the way,

But here is another piston to consider. The ROSS heavy duty #90465

Summit link

Notice that ROSS gives all pistons .008" more compression height, (so you don't have to zero deck your block).

It's specifically built for nitrous,

Like Mahle, all ROSS piston kits come to the customer size match and when they say it's 4.0240" it really is 4.0240" diameter.

I guess I should have listed the CI but its 355, with 6" rods. Its the combination that 94_lt1_4mula is asking about.
