I have a spec stg 3 with a stock flywheel and I like the peddle feel a lot. Haven't driven it more than 10 miles though but I dont see a problem with it at all later down the road.

I have the same clutch spec 3. I can't say that there is anything wrong with it. i put down 542 rwhp and 524 rwtq and beat the SH*T outta it. holds everytime.

This for racing or DD? I have a spec 2. I've driven two friends LS1's that had spec clutches and they all seem to grab REALLY hard. I'm not to happy with that for mine and will be swapping it eventually. As for holding power they work great though.

I don't know that I'm a fan of the feel of the spec 3 but it holds, ive tried the mcleod single disc, slp, and centerforce and they feel alot better but don't hold as good.

I used to have a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch before the spec 2 and I liked the feel of it so much more. Made for a smoother engagment but, I have no idea how well it holds.. Didn't seem to slip for me but, I am not pushing major power.

spec 3+ is your best bet! I love mine, it feels better than my stock clutch did.

No complaints with my mcleod single disk, held fine with 500/550 to the wheels when I was spraying my car too. I'll never own or ride in a car with a spec clutch after one blew up on my friends car, luckily he didn't lose a leg.
