Well what caused the gasket to blow? If it overheated you need to take the heads to a machine shop and checked for flatness, they will most likely need to be milled. Off the shelf felpros work fine, as long at there isnt something wrong causing the gasket to blow.

Mine have been milled multiple times, dont worry about it, they only take off the minimum they need to be straight. Mine were usually .002, no biggie.

I used the factory GM gaskets when I did mine, I have 11:1 compression right now and haven't seen any problem with them.

I had a set of cometics for my new setup, but had to sell them b/c I needed to go bigger on the bore of the motor. Havent decided if I'm going to get another set yet after reading how well people are doing with felpro.

Cometics here...but as said before unless you are running some serious cylinder pressure the felpro's will be fine
