GTP used to port a lot of shops LT1 heads back in the late 90s, some people made some power with Craig's heads. But nowadays theres so many choices, Thunder still sells GTP LT1 Heads but for the price your better off looking else where. Ellis, remember IRS? They had those Terminator heads, I think a local machine shop was porting them for Dennis.

Those and the "Peak Perf" heads that were all the rage. . but tended to leak and Hydralic Engines. I made the mistake of letting a guy get a IRS engine. they never balanced it Shook until the day it spit four rods out the side of the block LOL!

There has been alot of them come and go that is for sure.

Advanced induction gets my vote. I made 430rwhp with a miss and unported intake with their heads/cam and my stock 100k mile shortblock. Track times are coming soon.

Default how boot' canada eh?

I'm going down the same route right now. I've been talking to shops from all over North America to get work done to my stock casting LT1 heads (porting and biger valves). I live on the northern west coast of canada and I'm just finding out what I can with a huge help from this web site. So far I've talked to 9 shops and I got a good vibe from three shops:
- Advanced induction, North Carolina.USA
- Pro stock, Edmonton Alberta.Canada
- Canadian Performance, Toronto Ontario.Canada
Do you guys know any thing about these places? Nobody where I live has any info in these cars cause no one runs them. I called Loyd Elliott's a couple times this week and got no answer only the answering machine????
