new msd wires.. and just a little bit ago i drove like 6 miles then it died and i immediatly checked my fuel pressure and it was like 42 or 45 when i turned the key on... so i dont think it has anything to do with the fuel... i put a tester on the plug wire and it had no fire...

LOL Since when has Opti's age mattered for it to take a ****?

If it's not a fuse, not a relay and not the ICM or Coil, then it's a good chance it's the Opti. I can't think of anything else. Make sure to try your old ICM and Coil JUST to cover all your bases.

but if it was the opti wouldn't run badly... just miss and stuff.. cause isant it just a rotor and points right... i was just thinking that it would miss out and just run like crap rather than run good and then just die

If it was the opti, it would do a whole LIST of things. Including your problems.

You ask for help, people give you the 90% probably cause, you say No it's not it. You're not going to get help anymore.

So, replace the opti, since it'll need in in the next 10K miles ANYWAYS, and THEN tell us "no" or "thanks", capiche?

You'll get smart assed comments, when something sounds quite like what the problem is, and the OP continually says "no, not the problem". We've had your type around here before, and if it's not me who says it, it'd have been someone else.

Well, I assume you're looking at pushing the R's on that motor, so even so, a new opti (if it isn't recently replaced) wouldn't be a bad investment anyways.
