i dont think so. if you live somewhere that has strict emissions testing then i dont think you will pass a visual test if thats what you are going after. the cats will deffinitly move back and will not be in the stock location. i believe that the mac midtube headers retain the stock placement of the catalytic converter, and any shorty header will to.

and can i just run lt's,and an ory connected straight to my exhaust without a cat? would that make things easier? i dont mind getting rid of the cat.just dont want my catback to move since i just installed it and its welded.only prob is longtubes+ory+slp loudmouth=deafness.
and i live in florida so the emissions dont matter.

yeah, most people dont run cats on these cars. you will have to cut the catback off the stock y pipe for the aftermarket one to go into place. the catback itself wont have to move. and if the loudmouth get too loud for ya replace the resanator with a borla xr1 and it will sound badass.

well mines is a 93 so it only has 1 cat.its headesr to the y pipe then catalytic, and then my catback bolted on to the catalytic.so if i remove the cat i can install longtubes with an ory, and the ory atatches directly to my catback without my catback moving right?

it should technically. just like apollyn said it may or may not matchup. personally what i would do it have a (good) muffler shop weld up a custom y pipe to go into place so everything can be welded (thats what i did cause i cant weld). i know that people have had problems with the pacesetter y pipe fitting. i didnt think about the 93 having only 1 cat. so you should be able to keep it in the stock location if you need to.
