Default Quarter Mile Results

Took it to Memphis 1/4 mile last night, and brough it home with what I think is a broken Pinion..all I know is it launched with both front Tires in the air by a couple of inches, and set them back down with a pow..
If it's that, I'm switching to 3.55 Gears. After comparing what it did in the 1000ft to what it did here in the 1/4 Mile, it ran out of power toward the end of 3rd Gear, so I'm putting in the 355's to keep it using more of the Torque that is down low in each Gear. 3.73's are in it now.

This is what it got for the fastest time..

Here are some vids of it..

Thanks guys.
It's got a 10-Bolt under it.. Auburn Pro Series Carrier with Motive 3.73's on it. From what it sounds like the Pinion is broken.

I was in the left lane each time, pretty much for the whole night. The last pass I went into the right lane and broke it..

K, I wasn't sure if you ran a crap time due to it breaking or what, especially since you said you maxed it out and ran a bad time.

That's pretty damn good for "broken run" heh. So, expecting low 10s with the 3.55s?

i bet you broke the teeth off the ring gear...

and i was thinking your car would go faster at that weight and power....my car makes 320hp and about 350 tq and runs .40's on motor with 1.8 60' with a 1.5 it should go .0x
i also trap 94 on motor

you should be trapping 100 in the 1/8 easily...and at least 126 or so in the 1/4

I thought the same..
I compared my slips here to some of my older ones and they were a little slower compared to the older ones. I think the weather that night made the biggest difference.. it was really humid and started pouring when we left. My other times from a few weeks ago were on a nice hot sunny day.

I'm just goin to play with it and see what it does. As far as the Rear goes.. it won't move when you push it and there is no grinding, so the Teeth are fine. Something hard snaped to where nothing back there is spinning.

That was actually a bone stock '04 SVT Cobra..I was a little disappointed..I figured that the guy could atleast get 13's out of it. Then again shifting fast and a good 60ft makes a difference.

Hopefully Merv didn't take me seriously like you did.

If you want an honest prediction, it would be hard for me to give one. I don't know how much the broken gears hurt. If it wasn't much then I"d say 11 flat, but if it was a fair amount I'd say 10.8 or 10.9.
