Default A sad day(parting out my setup)

After spending the last few months in battle with trying to figure the gremlins in my car, I have given up. It's something electrical and I don't have the patience anymore to try to figure it out. Based on the 101mph in the 1/8th on 8lbs, I know the car had great potential, mid/high 9's with the boost turned up wouldn't have been a problem.

I'll be selling my complete turbo kit(realquick hot parts), along with the motor, and misc items. Going to keep the transmission for now, and I think I will hold onto the chassis incase I want to do a big block or something down the road, unless someone wants to offer me good money for it.

Here is the for sale thread...

Nooooo! I was hoping you would figure out what was wrong. I was wanting to see what that car would run.

its unfrotunate. it sux so bad when you can't find out what's wrong with a car when you know the setup has the potential to run even better. do you have a new plan or are you done with the car scene for now?

Sorry to hear your parting out the car. I have enjoyed the regular updates and the continued beatings you have been dishing out on the local competition Did you consider buying one of the brand new pre-made harnesses and installing it fresh in the vehicle. I don't believe they cost too much, $400 / $500 ? Just a thought, maybe you can re-consider your quest to the 9's for the sake of the LT1 community

The car just isn't making any power and keeps losing rpm at wot. I shot the timing the old school way with a timing light, and it will randomly jump around. I've replaced everything short of doing the harness and was going to do it as soon as I found one, but I got an offer yesterday that I couldn't refuse so I am selling this setup. I'm still not sure it isn't part of the underdash harness either that is giving me problems.

I plan on keeping the chassis laying around until I figure out what I want to do with it, it'll get another setup some day, maybe either with a carb or an lsx though.
