i would start with the opti.....
have you chaecked all of the simplest things possible...wires, fuel pressure, loose grounds, vacuum leaks? i find it is sometimes the simplest things that you end up chasing your tail on.
g'luck with it.

I am a friends of his, I believe he gots one new o2 sensor but the pcm didnt pick up one of them which we thought it was kind of weird. It would be driving normal but then after a while it just starts going to crap.

[QUOTE=taner;9569116]i would start with the opti.....
Really depends on what is meant by running like crap, at initial startup, after it warms up......Like tanner says, Opti. I have installed Brand New GM Delco Optis from the dealer that were bad right off, Opti also has input to the injectors...

Your OP said " and the other code is crank position sensor " are you still getting this code. The CPS in conjunction with the opti is used by the PCM to manage spark and timing, I suggest you get that resolved first. Secondly your friend said " I am a friends of his, I believe he gots one new o2 sensor but the pcm didnt pick up one of them " I think he's trying to say you have an O2 sensor going or staying inoperative. You have LT headers, check for melted wire to O2, did you cut, splice, or solder the O2 sensor pigtail to extend it, if so that would ruin the sensor. Either of the above would cause " running like crap ".

I think someone said it already.. I dont see the point of doing indepth troubleshooting without resolving the CAS code.
A faulty reading CAS will destroy any motors ability to run correctly. If the sensor is new Id check the wiring. IIRC theres a secondary harnass for it on the passenger side the of the intake manifold, I think its a 4 pin connector, multimeters are life savers.
I know I might be stating the obvious, but Ive melted plug wires on LTs..
