Was just wondering if anyone has had a tranny rebuilt by these guys, I'm considering it and I'm sure their work would live up to their reputation. Anyone, had this done if so how did it go?

Lots of people have, except most probably got it done when the trans builder was working at Six Speeds Inc.

I've seen many post about Six Speeds Inc. as well, but there have been several that sounded quite negative about the turn around time or other complications. Basically just trying to find out my options seeing as this is my daily driver and I can't have a 20+ day wait time.

The guys at LMR are really professional and build real race cars. They did all of the work on my car and they did a good job. I went from 297 HP to 380 HP!!

My husband is the builder and has over 700 trannies under his belt. Don't let Six Speeds recent customer service dissuade you from using LMR. LMR is a top notch company that will take care of you.

Its good to know that they have someone who does great work. This tranny of mine was rebuilt by a dealership a while back, a dealership that has recently gone out of business, and well the job done was far from good. Kinda just feeling it out in advance

I dropped my car off at LMR today to get the transmission rebuilt/clutch/hydraulics installed. Great shop, customer service, and the 1A special is sweet!

For the 1A special it would have taken only a couple of days, but since I'm doing the clutch and hydraulics it might take a little longer. The reason being that my clutch/hydraulics is coming in from SDPC in Lubbock.
