Default HELP on clutch or hydraulic?

Ok so I got an 02 camaro z28 built motor heads cam built t56 well one night i was racing it and some how the main shaft broke in half so i pulled the tranny out and sent it off got it fixed and gone threw again! I got it back put it in the car and I put Redline fluid in it too! I drove it and it was awesome drove perfect and the clutch felt great! Well that afternoon I go to move the car out the driveway and the rod on the master cylinder that hooks on to the clutch pedal broke in half (WTF) so the next day I pulled that out the car and went and got a new one from Napa. Put it in the car and I go to drive it and its hard as **** to get it into gear so we bled the clutch and it gets a little better but not to much better. I was still fighting with it to go into gear so we mighty vac the system and it still felt the same and a lot of air bubbles came out too! Well I pulled that master cylinder out and went back to Napa and got another one. I put that one in and wow much better!! But still I fight with it going into gear when everything is cold. I go drive it and you can speed shift at like 3000 or 4000 RPMs well if you rap it up to 6000 or 6500 RPMs it wont got o the next gear to save its life!!! I did the drag test rev it up to 6000 in first with the clutch in and the car moves forward pretty good so I know the clutch is dragging. I have went threw 6 little bottles of brake fluid bleeding this new master cylinder and its still doing it some people i ask say its something with clutch some say hydraulic and theres still air in the system. I have no idea what to do next!!! Any ideas????

Oh yea, since that seems like the only thing you haven't addressed but it is the hardest to get to other than the clutch but the tranny may have to come out
But don't take my word for it there are many more who know more than i do about this who should chime in........

The really interesting part is that the clutch functioned fine, with good release and overall feel, until the master broke. That being said I would think that the clutch is capable of deing what it needs to do. As for the slave-cylinder, it could be bypassing air internally which would cause the pedal to be inconsistent, as well as affect the release of the clutch. Pull the trans and replace the slave. You can also take a look at the clutch while you are in there as well. Let me know if you have any further questions and I will be happy to work with you to trouble shoot your issue. Thanks,

Agreed.

Everything was fine until rod broke. Doubt that teh clutch went bad just like that. However, have you been UNDER teh car? Looked for fluid around teh bellhousing (bottom)? Maybe the slave was binding up, pushed teh seal out, and is now leaking fluid??

Nothing is leaking fluid under the car! I have looked and looked and its dry!! But I guess I will replace the slave then and look at the clutch too while its out. Should I get a better master than the Napa one?

GM dealer is about 100-130 depening on the mark up. Spec sells them also less then $100.00 most clutch sponsors on here sell them
