Default M6 Drag Racers, clutch

Well, my clutch is done. Centerforce Dual Fricton, been in the car since 2004. No complaints on it. It just finally had 1 to many 6k clutch dumps and said it's done. Still driveable, but slips if given too much gas.

What I'd like to know, what would be the best clutch to replace with? It needs to be able to hold 6k dumps for awhile. Also while at it, should I get a new flywheel? If so which one/brand? I'll probably end up getting a SFI bellhousing/scatter shield while at it.

Thanks
Rich

Monster, I am currently waiting for the release of the new twins to come out. There are a ton of guys here running their single disc clutches with no problems and love them, also look in the sales section right now one of the sponsors is having a 100 dollar off sale..

Get a Monster Premium kit, and don't look back. They are built to beat on, and Monster will tell you that. They have EXCELLANT customer service, and a great warranty.

I'd recommend a Level 3 from Monster (biased, I know) or one of our new 11" race units! The 11" race units are designed to be spun just north of 7k rpms and have a 3500+ plate load for serious holding power!

Give us a call and we'll get you taken care of! 817-750-2000

My buddy is waiting on his RAM PowerGRIP HD to arrive. He's going after the title for the fastest bolt-on C6 6spd. He also slips the clutch to prevent breaking axles, rears or trans. I will let you know how he likes it and more importantly how it holds up at the track.

TEXtralia OZ700 Z-Grip gets my vote. With 25k of abuse, mine was still lifting the tires on my car last time at the track.

A SPEC Stage 3 would be a great option. As you can see there are lots of references to this above. Let me know if you have any questions or other product information needs and I will be happy to assist you. Thanks,
