Default Traction control not functioning???

can somebody help me and i apologize if this is the wrong forum, but i took my car to get tuned and they put it on the dyno. Now my traction control is always turned off. what could have ruined it on the dyno? the switch doesn't work but its not a bad switch. is there a module that the dyno could have ruined? the TCS light is always on in the dash now.

The car's computer turns the TCS on every time the car starts. The switch just commands it off.

You probably have a bad speed sensor, or something like that at the wheel. You should definitely get it looked at as your ABS system could have problems also. (they use the same sensors)

First you need to get the brake system scanned for codes. They will indicate where the problem is.

I had the same problem when I got mine dynoed and accidentally left the traction control on. It will take a couple ignition cycles to reset, and the light should go away.

Not necessarily. Did you scan the brake system for codes? The car's systems should be able to tell you what is going on.

Is your ABS INOP, TCS OFF and BRAKE light on or just the TCS OFF light. If all three are lit then you need an ABS scanner to pull the codes. If just the TCS OFF light is on then the only thing I know that can cause that is turning down the traction control severity in the PCM down to 0. In the PCM you can change how much the TCS controls wheel spin on scale of 0-10. If you put it to 0 it will leave the TCS off and your light will come on.

What are you using to check for codes?

If you look in front of the driver's side axle, there should be a wire harness plugged into the body of the car for your wheel sensors. If you had an idiot strapping your car down to the dyno, they threw the strap over the wires and pulled the connector out. That's what happened to mine last time I was on a dyno. Luckily nothing was broken.

Take it back to your tuner. If they broke something, they will be able to read that from the codes. If they didn't break something, then they screwed up some programming.
