6 speed, how strong?

Default 6 speed, how strong?

Now that i have up-grade to a 402(475rwhp) and dana 60s,3.73, drive shaft from srtange, clutch is Zoom kelvar and aluminum flywheel, want to kno how strong is my stock 6 speed, want to kno how hard can i leave and shift with this set-up? street tires but looking at some street slicks for the ocational race.

mine has never been opened

a ton of 6k+ clutch dumps on slicks at 420-480 rwhp and a couple dozen at 575 rwhp and still holding up

Torque is going to be a bigger factor than HP. But then it really depends on how you drive it. I've seen some HUGE horsepower engines running stock T56's. And on the other side of the coin, stock engines have blown T56's. It's more how you drive it than what you have pushing it.

i ran 10.73 @ 128 launching off a 2 step set at 4200 ...on a set of slicks... about 545hp to the ground

but am buying a built t56 due to being scared i'll blow my stocker
