I can only find a polyurethane tranny mount for 92 down, autozone has a stock (rubber?) mount for $8.00 or i can get a stock one from my local dealer for $80.00. so my question is, is the mount from autozone as good as the one from the dealer or should i just spend the extra money and get it from the dealer?

Energy Suspension has them. Try Thunder Racing , one of our sponsors.

I'd get the dealer one myself. But check around on here and on ebay. The Autozone guys usually don't know about it, its not behind the counter. Its out in the aisle. I wouldn't recommend the poly tranny mount.

We stock energy suspension parts where I work, and the mount #3-1108 works for all F-bodies (designed with 3 holes and a little extra play room to fit everything), and about $25 is what we charge.

I use a poly mount on my Nova and have had no problems, they work great!
