Default T56 shift points

Does anyone know what the RPM range is on the T56 for 3rd gear?

Seems to be hard to catch above 3000 RPM.

How can change the factory shift points?

Thanks,

Mike

Sometimes I wished my T56 shifted itself, too...on those late nights when I really don't feel like shifting. Maybe he's on to something...

The driver needs to go in to get reprogramed and that will fix the shift points

I can't tell if the OP was, or was not joking. Especially with his "transwiz" screen name.

Ok thanks for the worthless responses.

I know someone who had this problem corrected with custom tuning.

Your asking a question about a standard transmission that most people usually ask about an automatic transmission. Hense the responses.
Do you have a 6 speed? IF so what are you really trying to say. That your having trouble shifting into 3rd when the engine is above 3000 rpms?
IF this is the case there is nothing you can do in the computer to fix the problem. Maybe you have a synchro out or something or maybe its a clutch problem.

BUT asking how you can change the shift points on a manual transmission is kind of funny ****. You do the shifting: how can you change yourself is what your literally asking.

Alright then so the manual has no factory settings for RPM range during shifts.

Thanks for the help.

Correct. Are you just missing third when you shift or is there an issue. What year car, miles, mods and what exactly are the problems when they happen.
