Hurst Billet Plus Shifter
..Who has one ?? ...and do you like them.?? ....I just ordered one today...[ any special tools/torx/wrenches needed to put it in.? ]

Just looked at INSTALL U ..does the console have to come out.?? I thought some people have said they didn't remove it...??????

It does on a camaro. That's Install U is so good. Pictures that even an idiot can follow. The parking brake crap always Fs me up but other than that it's fairly simple. I'm not even sure you have to screw with that little dewy but you do have to put it in N. Chock the wheels so it will be in the same place if you leave it.

I've had the Hurst billet also for about 7 yrs. The stick is a bit long. I cut mine down about 1-1/2" and re-threaded the end. Made a huge difference. I've never completely removed the console to remove/install a shifter either. But getting the boot screws out is a bit of a PITA.
