i have the ls7 clutch kit on my 98SS about 1500 or so miles on mine and i absolutly LOVE it! joe and amber over at t56rebuilds.com carry a ls7 clutch kit that includes the correct parts needed to directly bolt it up to your car.(ls7clutch/pp, corect ls2 flhywheel). its a no brainer bolt up and last i checked they sold it for 550$ and they are a sponser here and good people.

I have it too. You need the ls2 flywheel/ls7 clutch and since its a 99 id replace the slave and master cylinders along with the pilot bearing. The price has gone up though. I know I got mine like mukyluk for around $550 bucks, but I think its gone up about $50 bucks or so, could be wrong though. The master and slave are needed though so I would def recommend them as well. The clutch feels awesome though. It has stock pedal feel and minimal chatter, but grips like a hell and feels great. Id def recommend it for a sub 500 rwhp car over any of the other clutch setups out there.

well i just got mine last night. thanks amber and jasen from T56 rebuilds! made it here in record time! i'm about to go throw it in right now, i'm sure i'll be up all night driving my car just because it's been a while! so i'll get back to you on how it feels! but so far i've heard nothing but good things! and i paid $550 to get it at my door! (you need the LS2 flywheel along with the clutch though)

You can also get the clutch/pp/flywheel/ and pilot bearing thru Scoggins/Dickey for $505. I just had mine put in about two weks ago, grips very well. I barked the tires going into 4th the other day that how well it holds.

ok well i got my car all back together around 8 tonight. then i got cleaned up and hit Woodward Ave. for some nice cruise'n! the LS7 is the best feeling clutch i've ever had the pleasure to drive!!! smooth as hell from the first go! NO CHATTER! friendly as hell on the foot! engauges right off the floor! i can't say enough good things about this clutch and i've only got about 70 miles on it from tonight!
it's not a bad price either, i forget, but i know i paid well over $550 for my spec3 and spec flywheel!
if you have a car that's making about the same power as a new Z06 or less...and you need a clutch....i have nothing but great things to say about this new LS7 clutch!
sorry for the overly happy post, but i just drove my car for the first time in a long time. made me happy
