the lsx motors have a recessed cranksahft, i forget how much the rear of the crank is recessed compared to the other gen engines, but the mecloid bellhousing will do nothing for you since the input shaft will still be to short
you could go the route that the auto guys go and run a crank spacer, but i feel with a manual that would be VERY unsafe

I believe Mc Cleod make "spacers" for the bell stack that will work with the LT1 length input but the real concern will be external bell mount slave(LT1) VS concentric mount slave(LS1) release systems. In order to mount the concentric slave on a LT1 T56 you have to swap front adapters to omit the Ththow out bearing guide tube and gain the CSC mounting face/holes.

and then the 4.3 is just a 350 minus two cylinders so everything bolts up

yeah im running the lt1 bell, fly, starter and clutch kit and a slave cylinder from a 1992 305 5 speed f body.
the slave is the exact same as an LT1 slave accept it has a bleeder valve on it
