Default need to start engine

Hi guys im having a bit of trouble. my transfer case is out of the car and i wuld like to start the engine but i cant push the clutch pedal down. is there any way to start the engine by pressing a buton on the clutch or something?

Unplug your clutch pedal position switch and jumper from terminal to terminal with a wire or paper clip. This will close the circuit and make your PCM think the pedal is being pressed. The car should start then...just remember not to push on the clutch!

Get under the dash on by the clutch pedal and look up...the clutch pedal rests against the switch when the pedal is all the way up.

Think i can press it manualy while i start the engine?

Pressing it tells the PCM that the clutch pedal is NOT pushed, depressing the switch closes the circuit and tells the PCM the switch IS pushed. You will either need to close the circuit manually as I said above, or push the clutch pedal all the way down. Since pushing the clutch pedal all the way down has already been ruled out, again, manually close the circuit as I said above.

How bout just turning the key on and running a jumper wire to the starter solenoid?
