I put my stock ball **** on the WS6Store short stick after installing it, and the **** hits the console in 2nd and 4th gear. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a quick fix for it?

I bought the ws6store short stick and put my factory equiped leather hurst ****(stock for the ws6) and it wasn't even close to hitting. I had no problems at all.

WS6 SS + Colored ***** = hit console in 2nd and 4th. I know from prior experience of purchasing both together. Now I have my stock shifter **** on the WS6 SS and it does not hit!

The short stick will hit the console if you don't have a factory Hurst shifter or an aftermarket shifter. Just the plain ole non-Hurst will not clear.

hey SDM, pistol grip setup is really nice. Got the hurst pistol grip, ws6 store short stick, and a hurst pro/comp shifter. With the pistol grip on the short stick, the throw is not as short as it would be with a standard **** on a short stick, but not as long as it would be on a stock stick. Its like heaven smack damn in the middle. Only thing that sucks about the pistol grip is that the metal surface just gets coooolllllddd (put a tight grip on it for about a min while your car warms up and then it should be fine).

This is why the Lou's Short Stick has a nice backwards bend. I have a MBA ball on mine and it doesn't even come close to the console.

Though I have a stock hurst, so it wouldn't matter much i suppose.

looks real nice! i would thread it down more and chop off a few more inches. mine is really nice, how it sits way down low! you barely have to move the stick at all!

it could defintly be threaded down more for use with the pistol grip, im not sure about a regular **** though
