Too much back.
All it means it that I gave the government a 14 month interest free loan. I dont want to get stuck owing, but I dont want them holding on to my money either. Oh well, time for some new windows on the house, remodel a bathroom and maybe nitrous.

I got nothing back. I had to pay them. Lovely little tax call the "sole proprietorship tax" - I made $1500 on my own under a business name (small thing on the side I do) and they took $200 of that
Yet somehow when I made $5000 or $6000 from an employer the previous year I get everything back, go figure
Probably passing that money on to some illegal immigrant or something
I'm a college student so I don't make that much to begin with BTW.

$1,100.
I overpaid this year based on expected investment earnings that didn't materialize, due to lower interest rates. If things had gone as originally planned I would've only gotten back $200-400.
