I want some True Duals / mandrel bent for my WS6. Finishline said they didn't want to do it because of clearance issues and Speed Inc. is too expensive. I want a quality job but $530 is a little high. Any thoughts? Thanks.

You could try Iggy's on Montrose and Harlem in Harwood Heights. They did them on my buddy's 01 SS a couple years ago for under 400 but he hated them and finally went with Speed's true duals over the axle. Pricey but worth it for a street car IMO.

Iggys does NOT do mandrel anything, they will bend everything old school... please don't go there unless you are installing something out of the box.

why not go with the taxas speed setup? 3" madral bent with xpipe and dynomax bullet mufflers. Sounds great.
For my formy, me and a friend did it. I just bought the universal true dual kit from jegs. Then I bought the headman s bend pipes from summit. Then I got some stainless steel band clamps. It's pretty nice.
Groud clearance is always going to be sucky with true duals. GM were a bunch of p*ssies and didnt plumb our rides for true duals. But a good exhaust shop, or a little of your own time, and with the right exhaust pieces, you can have a kick azz setup.

I had Iggys do a few exhausts for me, I like Pete and those guys over there.
Here is a rear shot of my duals. They really don't hang down that much:

Either get the TSP td's or go to Valasquez muffler shop on Belmont and Western I think? They do alot of custom stuff for ls1's. Everyone I know has been happy with their work and its cheap.
