Default Where to go?

I have to plan a cross country flight for my last phase of flight training. I need to go somewhere within 1,500NM of pensacola. I'm having a terrible time picking a place. I get all day saturday to sightsee, so I wanna go somewhere interesting.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: for all you air force guys..... WHere exactly is "the boneyard"? Is it as Davis Monthan?

Correct, Davis Montham is where the boneyard it.

There are some great satellite photos of the base on Google Earth, you can see all the aircraft lined up ready to be "Scrapped". Pretty cool, never been tehre tho. It's in the vicinity of phoenix right?

to bad San Diego isn't within distance. the night life and F-body scene is pretty damn good here. HAHA you could fly onto MCAS Miramar and be 10 minutes from downtown and the beach. AHHHHHH the easy Marine Corps HAAHHAHA

San diego is a little too far. I would like to go there though, Since I'm trying to be a hornet driver.

Right now I'm trying to fly to plattsburg AFB in vermont, and then drive to montreal to see an F1 race. i don't have a passport though.
