Not many bonouses being given out anymore... espcially since they plan on slashing thousands of people between now and 09.

i plan on joinin the airforce...i just was accepted monday..i had issues because i have hardware in my right arm so there was a few more loops to jump through

varies from job to job but the air force bonuses focus mainly on the first term airmen to get them to re-enlist for a second tour.

dont ever pick a job based on a signing bonus. is 4-5 years of being miserable worth 8k minus taxes?

pick a job you might like and youll be better off

I recomend crew chief no bonus in that job but all the tdys will make up for it over your enlistment

ha, there are no bonues like everyone said unless you go into some special forces air force job, or something like EOD that is involves a lot of danger. few years ago like 4 to 5 years ago there were good bonuses out there for most jobs. i don't think we will be seeing anything for a while if ever again. if you want a bonus that bad like someone said join the army or go navy. You can't beat the Air Force's living conditions for the most part or treatment, but it isn't the chairforce like some say. Be ready to deploy once your up to speed on your job or sometimes even if your not. but its not for everyone who knows you might like the Navy or Army better. It wasn't a hard decision for me...
