yeah but it would have to come with a solid axle out back and leave the line hard from the factory then it would kick ***.

Umm no thanks to a solid axle. It's 2008... No one wants a solid axle anymore

Then why are the new Cobalt SS and HHR SS's both turbo? And the Sky Redline and Solstice GXP are turbo also...The ZR1 is the only bastard child left!

I want the off the line torque an Eaton produces. Not a laggy turbo.

Ohh to answer your question.. No one cares about FWD performance so Gm just does whatever.

Small turbo on a small engine isn't laggy. I doubt GM would turbo a Vette and have it be laggy, it would be appropriately sized to be minimal in the lag department and still pack a nice wallop. Superchargers are lame, leave that to the Fords, GM should've turboed the ZR1.

Speak for yourself. No one wants a 3,900lb boat either...but that's
what you're getting.

I'll take "laggy" turbo anyday of the week over a POS Eaton blower...or a twin screw for that matter.

Cool photoshop! I don't like the clear hood though.

i doubt GM would use a regular turbo on the ZR1 when it gets converted....

look at Porsche, VTG, allows the fins in the turbo to adjust acordingly to provide boost throughout the whole RPM range.... not just top end
