Best Daily Driver!
Eventually looking to get a nice DD, i was thinking of either a GTO or a CTS-V, i want good gas mileage so which ever one i choose will be a M6. Any other suggestions? I want something comfortable, good gas mileage, reliable, power when i need it! I don't know much about BMW's but i believe you can get a certain year M3 pretty cheap and its supposed to be a nice quick car. Just wanted some opinions on other options.
Thanks
EDIT: Also the New Camaro SS, GTO, CTS-V(1st Gen), or other suggestions!

I knew i forgot something, i also added the new Camaro to the list, although i don't like how big they are. Thanks for the response, is there a reason why the GTO over the CTS-V?

Just be a badass and DD the Trans Am
If not, get a CTS-V. I like the GTO better but it really isn't any more practical than the Firebird, except it has better seats.

Since you already have a V8 and are looking for a DD with good power, gas mileage, and comfort, I would have to say take a look at some M3s for sure. One of my buddies has one and it is a sweet car. I would love to DD one

If your looking into the 30k price range, you can definitely get a beautiful BMW with low miles.
My dad has a 2003 BMW 530i and its a great car. 23 average gas mileage and he womps on it all the time. Its fast, rides on rails, interior is flawless and looks prestige. My whole family has bimmers, except me, but they are great cars. I love my camaro, but i would take a bimmer in a heart beat. (for a DD that is). And then, later swap in an LS1 ha

I plan to keep my TA but not as a DD, I want a car with a real nice interior that hopefully still has that new car scent obviously a used car, I was thinking of an STI, since it will be great in the winter, but I love GTO interiors and CT-V's.

You live in Buffalo, buy a 4x4.
CTS-V is nice but WAY over priced for what they are.
GTO, is a pig with massive body roll. if you don't like the 5th gen you won't like the GTO as they ride/drive the same. I sold my Firehawk and bought a GTO brand new when they came out. I sold it 2 years later and replaced it with a low mileage LS1 SS. GTO = Heavy heavy heavy.
M3 is nice but expensive and it will make you never want to get into your cheap plastic interior Pontiac again.
If you're going to have a second vehicle go with something that has some utility to it for when you have a haul something, or go get say a rear end for your TA. A truck comes in handy way more times than you'd ever think.
