Exclamation Corvette ls1 millage

hi i just bought a 1999 corvette with an ls1 engine 5.7 with 150miles. I just want to know if you could help me determine if the millage on it is to high or if its ok. The engine runs good, sounds good, transmission works good.

Its all depending on how the car was taken care of.LS-1's can go a long time if well maintained. Were they highway miles and how often was the oil change.Does the last owner have paper work on everything done ?U can get a used longblock for around $800 and rebuild it or buy a new one.

As long as there are no knocks, metal gargling noises, or smoke coming out and it runs strong, you should be good. With the miles though, make sure you keep up with maintinence.

It all depends on how the car was takin care of...I personally wouldnt buy anything w/ that high of mileage. Drive it and have fun just be prepared for a possibly rebuild.
