can't spin tires, similar thread
So I have an A4 with 110,xxx miles catback, volant, suspension work. with 275's on the front and 315 NItto 555r's on the back also with 2.73 gears currently. I dynod 280 and I know i also have clogged cats. I just feel like i have NO power, is all of this adding up? It seems quite difficult to chrip even 2nd gear and I even have problems doing burnouts..
I have 3.73's , headers, ORY, underdrive, plugs, wires all waiting to go on the car.. but as it sits now.. does it make sense i have no power..?

It's impossibile to determine if your performance level is "normal" when you already know that something is wrong with the car. Clogged cats can cost you anywhere between 1% to 100% of overall power depending on how much flow is blocked, so this thread is pointless until you fix this variable.
Take care of this issue before you worry about anything else.

and yeah im hoping its the cats.. i know they are pretty bad because if i get on it hard enough really quick i can stall out the car. i've done it on the road and on the dyno

280 rwhp with a basically stock car w/ plugged up cats? Seems like you're not doing too bad at all, as mentioned the plugged cats could cost you 1% or 100% depending on the amount of blockage, so if you think you're low on power then that's probably it.
What we should be asking is if you know there's a problem then why are you asking if you have a problem? lol

i dont think its a performance issue at all....i think u have a good tire issue... 315 nt555 arent gonna blow away like a stock 245...or even a 275... I have headers, true duals, !cats, !EGR, !AIR, SLP lid/filter, 4.10's with 315 NT-01's and i dont spin em either...only time i can is if i slip the clutch a little in first and theyll chirp in second, but for the most part, they HOOK. before the 315's, i had some general POS 245's and in first and second u could burn em off all day long....
