Other than putting it between the Gas Pedal and the Carpet, I think you have it exactly where it can be most effective.

I have my in the center almost touching the glass. Hardwired it and hit the wire.. I dont like the big wire going down to the cigarette plug. So when the car is on, so is the detector.

Do you have any pics of it being hotwired?

My buddy hard wired his to the power on the rear-view mirror. He also has it mounted way high basically on the tint line next to the rear view mirror. Its a very clean set-up, and people cant easily see you have a radar. Cause if you leave that in plain sight, it WILL get stolen if its a decent radar.

In the trash, they don't work (at least not good enough that you can speed around all the time and not get a ticket, so what's the point?).

It gives enough warning as to where people that like to drive 10-15 over the speed limit have enough time to slow down and avoid a ticket. But you still have to use your head and not rely on it.

Yea I'd say radar's are good for long trips and if your wanting to go 85-90 in a 70 and can't see the 10's of people in front of you hitting their brakes before they fly by the cop sitting in the median.

Seriously though I had a buddy who actually mounted his down inside his defroster vent on his car(non f-body) and made a pocket basically for it. It seemed to really pick up on the K bands a lot earlier and made it impossible for a cop to see.

I'd like to mount a jammer in my core support or front bumper support area lol anyone know where to get one?
