Default help with mod

is anyone aware of any mods where the coolant lines that run over the block right under the heads are cut?? all of them the skinny metal ones.

when you go to a ls6 intake, you need 2 caps for the backs, and a smaller short line for the front.

but other than that reason, there is NO reason to mess with them

you know what that might be it the car does have an after market intake its an all aluminum i dont remember the whole name but its somethign Waine or
Waine something it has someones name on top of it you can find it on summit racing dont know if you guys know wich one iam talking bout. Do you guys think that might be y they are cut??

bingo is there some kind of clearence issue with that intake that might make it nessesary to cut the coolant lines in the on teh engine, not the t/b.

not sure on the weiand intake, the ls6 intake most definately does, if you look at the front tubes that cross over from head to head, there is a y section, if that is not there or is capped then yes.

yea both tubes are cut the ones in the front and the ones in the back, so both lines are cut. is there any danger on runnign the car with both the front and the back tubes cut?? does it even matter?? should i get a 160 thermostat to compensate???
