If you have an auto you could get a tranny cooler. It wont help power wise but your tranny would love you for it.It will def make a difference.

If you have a 6sp I dont know.

I think you might be able to get your throttle body ported for under a $100.It will be more noticable as you get more mods.

Other than throttle body, i know this isnt the answer your looking for but you can open a savings account and throw all your mod money in there until it builds up and you can take a shopping mod spree. Hard to get any mod really around $100 that will make a difference as you stated. Actually i take that back. How about a cutout? Will give you a bit more power and def a badass sound!

I reckon there's a few suspension/chassis components worth buying:

BMR Shock Tower Brace Texas Speed & Performance $99.00
Sub frame connectors BMR Fabrication $169.95
Driveshaft safety loop BMR Fabrication $99.95
Tunnel Brace BMR Fabrication $89.95
Control Arms BMR Fabrication $119.95
Panhard Rod BMR Fabrication $99.95

Any of these would be worth while.

Working the bumpstop to get full open, costs
you a flat file if you don't have one. Or a
Dremel / flex shaft tool, better. Snugging the
cables is free, maybe a piece of vacuum hose
and zip-ties if you have bad slack in the non-
adjustable pedal cable. These two will get you
a TB that opens fully. Porting costs only time
if you have the tools. As far as mods that have
a real likelihood of improving power, this is the
best for the buck in my opinion. Other than
leaving your trunk open and waiting for speed
parts to fall from the sky

cheap bastard!... but i would get a tune.... expecially if you have gears and plannin on running and ORY...and have you cut the bottom of the air box out...its lets cooler air into the intake....and a tranny cooler..considering you dog the shyt out of your car it will make sure your tranny will shift when its supose to every time...just my .02 but i would get the shyt installed then a tune and you will love it....

p.s. the driver mod is very needed lol

I have heard mixed opinions and have seen that a tune may not be necessary with just exhaust. Now the gear is just a speedo calibration, not a tune.
I know from expereince that with 01-02 LS1's, a tune for just bolt-ons is a waste. If you want to get that gear calibrated, that is a different story but a dyno tune... Don't bother. My buddy paid 400 for a dyno tune and 3 pulls and got 8rwhp out of it. Definitely not worth it to me but, to each his own.
Like everyone said at this point, just save your money and do all the free cosmetic stuff for now.

that might be true with a m6 but with an auto car you can pick up more than that not only hp but the way the car puts it to the ground, as in shift points and firmness. and he is doin header so you have to get either some 02 sims or a tune to delete the rear o2 so its the same money around here to get a tune as it would be to get some 02 sims...i got a tune and i have basic bolt ons not even headers and i beat up on m6 cars all day from a roll and dig.. but like you said to each his own...

Why tune an automatic before a converter? Why not save your money, buy a converter cause if you have an automatic, and know the difference between your *** and a hole in the ground, you would know the BIGGEST gain with an auto would be a verter before internals.. Tune the car when you are all done with mods. Tune it once and save money in the long run.
And if you are racing equal modded M6 cars and beating them that bad, those M6 guys might wanna spend some time learning how to drive a M6. A4 cars dont beat equally modded M6's without converters, especially off a dig!
