Smile Factory Freak maybe...?

i have a 2000 SS A4...

and i know camaros are quick cars but mine just seems freakin FAST..

i have raced a 2005 G35 coupe with headers,exhaust,cold air intake,and a chip...and i beat him by atleast 6 or 7 car lengths from a 40 roll and dead stop...

i beat a 2003 GT with and exhaust and other bolt ons by probably atleast 5 lengths to...

and just to mention i have HORRIBLE tires...so on all these races i had to start out VERY slow and still OWNED them..are all f-bodies this fast?

yeah they all usually run pretty damn good unless theres somthin wrong with them. Get some dyno numbers or track times to see if its reall a freak. Or race another stock SS A4.

Low 13's with a good 60 and a factory freak possibly high 12's

that would be good..

My 02 Z's times and dyno results are in my sig. Mid 13's stock are the norm for these cars.

dyno numbers and track times tell the true story.

i have plenty of story's on the street where i should have had my *** handed to me in a race by some FAST cars.
but often enough the 'faster' car falls short..

truth be told: ANYTHING can happen on the street.

Did you buy your car used? Maybe the previous owner(s) put a converter in or did some internal engine work and some rear gears. But I assume they would change stock manifolds for headers. Maybe do some investigating. It may not be as bone stock as you think.

I didn't catch taht his was a a4...

And if those times are too low, sorry for my lack of ls1 knowledge... I thought they were a full second faster than the late model lt1's, and a good lt1 can run a 13.7-13.9 with a ninja driver on DR's

I'm saying that I have never seen or heard of an A4 LS1 F-Body hit a 12 bone stock, thats why I said I 'think'. With DR's I'd say so. But for the posters car i dont see 12's especially since his is a 00 and lacks the LS6 intake it would be very tough. The results of his races seem about average for an LS1. If it was a stripper car than he'd be dang close. You also have to think that 13.1 is still 2 tenths from a 12 and thats 2 car lengths in the 1/4, its larger than you think. Sgt. Spuds, you are right LS1's are almost a second faster than LT1's, average is usually around 13.5's. DR's can't be used in the comparison though since those help ALOT. To run low 13's like you said will take more than the average driver, anything sub 13.2 is VERY impressive from either tranny.

My wife's 01 A4 Z28 ran 13.68 at 101mph bone stock w/ street tires. That was her first time at the track and was cutting 2.15 and in the nasty hot Florida weather.

Unless your GSD3's have no tread, they are far from bad tires.

I was thinking the same thing. Also the rides you list as having beat isn't very impressive for the simple fact that some people just can't drive. To know if you have a freak get it dynoed.

a 2005 G35 coupe with headers, exhaust, cold air intake, and a chip can definately be a decent car and mid 13's range. their only mabe a tenth slower than their brethren 350zs.

and those are 13.6 being best ive seen stock to 14.3 @ 102 thats still a decent kill for a stock ls1. id say your mid 13's mabe lower.
