Nitrous problems...
I have a 99 TA with MS4 cam and supporting valve train, 90mm tb, 90mm mass air, and 90mm fast intake, and tr6's. I also have a Harris wet plate. I have a stand alone fuel cell with c16 in it, and a 150 shot with the corresponding fuel shot. Also have a lingenfelter two step that allows me to take timing out. we are taking 8 degrees when on the shot, and it is popping and banging. it pops and bangs all the way through first and second then i get out of it... i have no idea..

Sounds like she's rich. I only pull 6 degrees out for the 150hp shot. What jet sizes are you running? Also, take out the TR6s and get you a set of BR7E's. Nitro Dave's sells them now and they come pre-gapped. I just bought a set.

Alright thanks, I will give that a try.. I actually have another question, what type of plate are you using, with my Harris plate I am having fuel splashing back towards the air box.. We don't know why it's doing this..If you or any one else can shed some light on this it would be great

we have had the car on the dyno and off the bottle the a/f was 12.6. every time we tried the bottle it would do this, so my dyno guy didn't record the data off the nitrous pulls b/c he said it wasn't valid. I have the link that the guys from nitro dave's sent us to check the spark plugs, haven't done it yet though.
the car runs just fine off the bottle, we have actually pulled the plate off and checked to make sure that it is spraying fuel, and it appeared to working properly..
I will get some pics to you as soon as possible.

Check to make sure you don't have the nitrous and fuel lines crossed on the plate. I can't see why it would blow fuel to the air filter. Also, did you put the egr on the new fast intake? The fuel could be deflecting off of that but I still don't see how it could make it to the air filter. The only way I can see that is if it had some high pressure help from the nitrous. The vacuum alone from the motor would over come alot of it. Mine started popping one time and it ended up being a burnt intake valve. I did a compression test and found it. But, it ran like crap on motor too.

the plate has an o-ring on it and so does the fast intake. so we thought that logically you would not put two o-rings together... we have the o-ring side of the plate against the back of the tb, and then the solid back of the plate against the o-ring on the fast intake.
